Pamela Rittmeyer - TREASURER
Pam grew up in Southern California and later moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. After completing high school, she returned to California and attended Pearce Community College in Woodland Hills while working for J.D. Powers & Associates and Eastman Office Products. However, the disconnected and fast-paced lifestyle of Southern California became tiring, and her desire to return to New Mexico grew stronger. In 1993, she moved back to Santa Fe and has been there ever since.
Pam initially worked as a bookkeeper for various retail stores and galleries in the downtown Santa Fe plaza area. It was in 1998 that she met her husband, Robert, who was working in a popular downtown restaurant. They got married in 2002, and soon after, they welcomed their two beautiful daughters. With two small children and opposite work schedules, Pam's top priority became finding an independent career with a flexible schedule. She shifted her focus to developing a client base that allowed her to work more from home.
Currently, Pam has over 40 clients spanning a wide range of industries, including a non-profit daycare for adults with disabilities, landscapers, doctors, restaurants, and more. She is responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll and sales tax reporting, reconciling, and financial statements. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she has assisted several clients in applying for SBA loans to help them stay afloat. Navigating loan forgiveness is the next challenge in uncharted territory, but she takes pride in being able to support her clients and help them navigate through these unimaginably challenging times.
