MONITORING AND EVALUATION

At Phalarope, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) are key to ensuring that our programs deliver measurable, lasting impacts. Our M&E framework combines innovative technology with community-based approaches, allowing us to track progress, assess effectiveness, and continuously improve our interventions. We employ a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods to collect data, including baseline studies, real-time monitoring, and end-line evaluations. Central to our process is the use of ArcGIS mapping technology, which enables us to visualize and analyze spatial data, providing deeper insights into the geographic and social dimensions of our work. We involve local communities, partners, and stakeholders in every stage of the evaluation process, fostering transparency and accountability while ensuring that our programs align with local priorities.

This robust M&E process, enhanced by the use of ArcGIS, ensures that Phalarope remains accountable, transparent, and responsive. Our focus on spatial data, community input, and evidence-based evaluation drives continuous improvement and maximizes the long-term impact of our work. Through these efforts, we deliver solutions that not only address immediate needs but also foster sustainable development and resilience in the communities we serve.

Baseline and End-line Studies

Comprehensive evaluations at the beginning and conclusion of each project to gauge shifts in crucial outcomes, including health, economic, and social indicators. These studies encompass survey design, process, and the development of impact indicators.

Real-time Monitoring

We leverage ArcGIS and other tools to collect real-time data from the field. This allows us to track program implementation, identify trends, and make timely adjustments.

Spatial Analysis

By integrating ArcGIS mapping, we analyze geographic data to better understand local conditions, resource distribution, and community needs. This ensures that our interventions are accurately targeted and context-specific.

Impact Measurement

Beyond immediate outcomes, we evaluate the long-term sustainability of our programs. Our mapping tools help us assess how interventions continue to benefit communities even after our direct involvement, highlighting areas of continued progress or emerging challenges.
